Araminta and BCAC Partnering with R. House for Giving Tuesday

For the second year in a row, Araminta and Baltimore Child Abuse Center are partnering with R. House to share our missions in the Remington neighborhood.

On November 27th, R. House is generously giving our organizations:
• 10% of the proceeds from all vendors
• 5% of the proceeds from the R. Bar
• A specialty cocktail/mocktail in honor of the day
• Special giveaways to help spread the word about our missions

We are inviting everyone to support our missions to safeguard children in Maryland by dining at R. House anytime throughout the day. And be sure to invite your friends, family and colleagues  — the more the merrier!

Can’t make it to R. House on the 27th? You can still help us reach our #GivingTuesday goal by donating here.

Looking for unique gift ideas for someone on your list this year? Give the gift of freedom! Make a $25+ donation to Araminta in a loved one’s honor and receive a special card to give them in exchange. For more information about the cards, or to make a donation, click here.

*Please note: Cards will be mailed to donors or recipients who give through this campaign only until December 14th. They will also be available to pick up in person at R. House on November 27th.

Entering its seventh year, “#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.” (from givingtuesday.org)

Giving Tuesday is a special opportunity for us to amplify the community of individuals and community partners dedicated to ending modern-day slavery and moving towards freedom. We can’t see our vision of Every Child Free from Human Trafficking fulfilled without you — our community. Help us celebrate the joy and hope we get to see in the lives of survivors and rally our friends, family and colleagues to come alongside them.
